One Year of SafeBase

It has been one year since we launched SafeBase, our HIPAA-compliant work-from-home solution.

COVID permanently changed how people think about work. Instead of fighting that shift, we decided to embrace it, but we knew remote work in healthcare had to be secure, compliant, and accountable.

That is why we created SafeBase in partnership with HIPAA Heroes. SafeBase is not simply a work-from-home policy. It is a structured operating model designed specifically for healthcare and regularly audited to ensure our clients’ information remains protected.

Compliance also includes regular home visits from our “Road Warriors,” who visit employees in their homes, inspect their workspaces, and confirm that our security and compliance standards are being followed.

But these visits are about much more than an audit. Many remote employees do not regularly see their coworkers outside of Snapscale events and cultural activities. Our Road Warriors bring Snapscale directly to them. They check in, share company updates, deliver gifts, recognize accomplishments, and make sure every remote employee feels connected, supported, and appreciated.

For employees, SafeBase provides flexibility, eliminates commuting time, and creates opportunities regardless of where they live.

For clients, it expands the available talent pool, improves business continuity and retention, and provides confidence that remote work is being properly managed.
